  • MedImageInsight: Used for analyzing medical imaging content, streamlining workflows in radiology and pathology.
  • MedImageParse: Analyzes different types of images generated by X-ray machines, CT, MRI, and ultrasound devices.
  • CXRReportGen: A model specifically designed for AI examination of chest X-ray images.

Safety Concerns Regarding Medical Advice from Microsoft Copilot Studio

Researchers evaluated Microsoft Copilot by asking it to respond to 10 common medical questions in the U.S. and 50 commonly used medication-related questions, generating about 500 answers. The test results showed significant accuracy and completeness issues, with 24% of the answers inconsistent with medical knowledge and 3% completely erroneous. More concerning, 42% of the answers could cause moderate or mild harm to patients, and 22% could even lead to death or serious injury, while only 36% of the answers were assessed as harmless.

This indicates that there is still a need for improvement in the provision of medical information by Copilot to ensure patient safety. Therefore, individuals should not fully rely on Microsoft Copilot Studio or other AI systems for medical information; consulting healthcare professionals remains the most reliable approach.

Conclusion

Just like XXAI integrates popular AI models into a multifunctional system to enhance user experience, Microsoft Copilot Studio not only improves the efficiency of medical services but also allows for personalized configuration tailored to specific needs, advancing the digital transformation of healthcare and enhancing patient experiences and outcomes. Healthcare institutions will also be better positioned to tackle complex medical challenges, achieving a higher level of intelligent management. 图片3.png
